Is my data private?

Yes! Transcribe processes everything 100% on your device. Your recordings and transcripts never leave your phone. We don't collect any data, and there are no servers involved.

Does Transcribe work offline?

Yes! Since all processing happens on your device using Apple's built-in Speech Recognition and AI frameworks, you don't need an internet connection to record, transcribe, or summarize.

Why is transcription accuracy not perfect?

Transcription quality depends on audio clarity, background noise, accents, and speaking pace. For best results, speak clearly and minimize background noise. The AI continuously improves with iOS updates.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the app, go to the paywall screen, and tap "Restore" at the bottom. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Find Transcribe and tap "Cancel Subscription." You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.

What devices are supported?

Transcribe requires iOS 26 or later. AI Summaries require an iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence enabled. Basic transcription works on all supported devices.

Where are my recordings stored?

All recordings are stored locally on your device in the app's private storage. They are included in your iCloud backup if enabled. Deleting the app will delete all recordings.
